In a land far from the sea lives an old king with a nagging queen. Queen - "My Lord, My Love, My King why must it be? The princess, your daughter cries in her sleep. Somewhere a man, a prince, a husband to be. Would be proud to have her stand by his sleeve." King - "Oh my lady, my love, my queen why can’t you see. Your daughter, the princes one day will be free. Her fate, my throne someday it shall be. Her suitors are lovers but lovers of greed!" Princess - "Dear father, my lord, my king so weary I be. I your daughter, the princes implore you to cease. For fear for all men who come to seek me. Will fail in their test. This impossible quest."

I like the style, the idea and the approach... very Pendragon-y. I may prop this up on my players. Nice Job !

Yes, great scenario...I think the alternative ending where PCs carry out all the various escalating quests,deal diplomatically with monsters,overcome magic lakes, trick the King and his army with a cunning ruse and then find out the Griffon was an evil liar all along is really funny...GMs better get their running shoes on before playing it this way though!
