| Spirits Without | | Author: Strolen | | System: Generic | | Category: Fantasy | | Type: Hook | | The players unknowingly awaken an ancient army. Viewable by all, yet unseen by the players, people flee in fear of the marching army of spirits on the path to a major walled city. On arriving at the city the players cannot figure out why the gates are closed, the towers are manned and on the defensive - from them... | | Views: (7896) | | Comments: (6) Rating: 9.7 | | 2003-01-26 05:34:26 |

That way they have an idea, but may still take a little while to figure it out. Eventually, when they attack the city, the spirit army will slowly come to life for the PCs as the attack continues and the PCs may slowly realize what is going on. |

I truly like this one and will use it for all that it is worth. Including scared animals and a sense of "being followed" wherever they go.
There is nothing like a little paranoia to add to your playergroups day. :D |
