The Plight of Duke Ulfius
Author: Steve Fontaine
System: Pendragon
Category: Fantasy
Type: Scenario
This adventure should be used with a group of 3-4 players. All should be equipped very well, and have good skills. As a guideline the average player should be in at least his 8th-10th year of adventuring. Also, it may prove interesting if the players are from different religious backgrounds, but this is far from necessary!

This is great!
Except I tore the story apart, turned it upside down and put it back together again in a D&D 3rd Ed world. Here Caltabos became a half-elf and truly the kings older half-brother. The situation in the kingdom was unstable and I had the Duke have a stroke at the news, throwing all the decision making over to the PCs. It took long to convince them that the halfbrother was a good guy and not trying to get the throne.
The best was the look on their faces when he appeared the first time. They had the most wonderful 'Why me?' expressions ]:D
