Closer My God Unto Thee
Author: Fergal O'Brien
System: d20 Dungeons and Dragons
Category: Fantasy
Type: Scenario
A killer is stalking the streets, and yet it is who it doesn't kill that has the town in uproar. There is more than mere insanity at play, and unless answers are found soon the entire city might dissolve into chaos. But answers rely on truth, and truth is such a subjective term, especially when priests get involved. A Dungeons & Dragons (3rdEd) game from Warpcon XI

When I looked at the list and saw a new adventure I was excited. Then I saw it was from a convention and I was sort of let down. Who would want to run somthing that depends on pre-made PCs. How lame, I thought. Then reading over the adventure it got my wheels spinning. I'm not often the GM (I GM when our regular GM is blank for ideas that week). I feel this adventure would be easily adaptable for running in a normal campaign. Kudos to the writer, good job.

The main pro with this adventure is the pre-made PCs. Better have the players bring their own cha's and make the half-elf an NPC. This would change the adventure, but who cares about a premade PC? The ending is also a bit vague...what happens after the fight? The idea is good but needs a few corrections. (BTW the half-elf has only 67 HP??? with CON 16??? bring up those points!! she's a fighter!

I think the adv makes good use of its pregenerated characters and tells and interesting story. But the plot is very linear and altogether pretty railroaded.

Good adventure. use either the pre made characters or use the 'old' ones you have been using and enter a few NPC to make up all the characters. Well laid out, good information.
