Hmmm....
One question: since when Temple Avesti and Brother Battle are at war? How could they demonstrate such open hostility?
Temple Avesti is bound to obey Urth Ortodox, and would not be able (and would not dare) to perform such blocade without Patriarch's or at least Metropolitan's permission. Events of this scenario would have to many political consequences (possible up to separation of Temple Avesti from the Universal Church), and would change world of Fading Suns forever.

I like the basic idea of someone holding everyone hostage for a perverted reason, but I find the manner to end it a bit weak. Good effort.
