You know, I was never a fan of this setting for AD&D. However, I have been reading the new adventures as they came out on this page, never know what you can use. This one adventure really amazed me. It was quite well written and the feel it offered was above and beyond what I ever thought the setting could allow for.

This was pretty damn good. It does leave a question or two, though; is the existence of the Land of Innocence general knowledge? And how come Devon can be "saved" but the other, less horrible "bad kids" can't? Still, good stuff, and I plan to use most of it.

You know, I wrote this five years ago, but I'm really stoked that people are still finding it and reading it and enjoying it. I see a lot of places for improvement now, of course, but hindsight is always 70/80. Or whatever.

As for the questions, I'd say that in PS, most of what's known by some people is known by most. The Land of Innocence is probably as commonly known as any small, out-of-the-way Elysium town, which is to say that some know of it, but it's not high on the priority list (in a world with divine magic, one imagines kids die a lot less, especially when such magic is commonly available on the planes). And the reason Devon gets saved but most other "bad kids" don't is because he repented. The others don't see their error, and don't particularly want to, either...one could say the Land of Fear is a vicious catch-22: the only way to get out and recognize your error would be to gain the experience that the land does not allow.
