Homecoming
Author: James Tremlett
System: Call of Cthulhu
Category: Horror
Type: Scenario
This scenario is intended as an introduction to Call of Cthulhu, and is best played with 3 - 4 Investigators. They need not have anything in common, save the friendship of William H. Pendergast IV, who will be a member of the party either as an NPC, or a fellow Investigator.

Very Nice. The only thing I am missing is a better way out for the PCs (thogh that is no necessity in a CoC adventure)

A quite good adventure. Fun to involve a player as William, and that made theadventure much better I think. But still there where a little soltuions under way for the players. And for my group I had to invent some more things to happend. But the build up of action from a calm country trip too total desperation was cool. It was very group centered, and often let the players roleplay among themself. Giving the Keeper a little rest, and just come in sometmes with some bizare events. It was very well written too, altough the text cpould by slightly shortened. But's that nothing in the overall score.
But I whould have liked too see a little more information about this time buisniss.
Overall one of the better CoC quests found on the web.

Pretty decent adventure overall. The attention to detail and the time tables are crucial for any adventure in which degeneration of any sort is a key. The only thing I might suggest is to add some description to the surrounding environments. Describe more than the temp, and a few other details. Really get into the scenery to set the mood. Also I would reccomend music to go with the adventure to enhance the strangeness of the time distortions/loops. I think I may run this one with the 12 Monkeys movie soundtrack and a few tracks from a band called "Midnight Syndicate" who produce some incredible creepy atmospheric pieces.

A good solid adventure. The slips in time worked wonderfully to make the different groups of my players think they were following the correct flow, and in essence turn on eachother.

Great Scenario for a first time GM and players, just needed to understand the basic rules. Didn't need to have a lot of Mytho's memorized and didn't need to keep referring back to the COC book.
