Useful adventure hook. Sort of a B horror film that guides the players towards adventures in the dreamlands.

Eh. Like other B movies, the plot is rather transparent and my players would see right through it. So the game becomes not a fight against unknown evils, but a wolf hunt. Much less scary when you describe the horrors of the mythos.

To be honest, it's something that most players would see through. The third option is a bit of a twist though.
