Evil sorcerers, dragons, a rising darkness and plenty more. This is a complete campaign that should take months to play through unlike some other campaigns found here. Well written, carefuly researched, logical and most imortantly realy entertaining, this is a masterwork of roleplaying literature. If I could give this 11 Id give It 12. Keep on rollin' Paul! |

posted by RPGcritic on 2001-07-04 20:59:01 | I doubt it would take MONTHS to run these campaigns. However, they are relatively well done. These are dungeon crawl type adventures more than thinking RP. Lots of hack and slash.
The treasure hoards are a little on the rediculous side, but that's a relatively common problem and simple to fix by any GM.
I read the Earth adventure and I would give it a seven or an eight because it's a dungeon crawl and lacks serious Roleplay. However, for rating the campaign, which the author obviously put a lot of effort into, I am giving a ten. |

The maps need work and I'll probably redo them for my own files(just touch up work with my own artistic talent). I'd also like to add that with a little DM tweaking it becomes more than Hack and Slash (especially for me since my campaign doesn't take place on Oerth).
Kick ass is right! The whole pentology leaves you ready for more. |

What a great piece of work this is i can't say until i have played it, but its the biggest ever. I just have to say that hack and slash vs roleplaying depents on the dm and party not the story. i give it a well deserved 10 for the work. |

I'm using the maps and characters and general plot, though I'm using a highly tweaked Tri-Stat system of play. But as far as description and plot and everything goes, this a great adventure, with enough elasticity that you can make each chapter a one shot, or make each chapter a month long. I'd like to see a tiny bit more "town action" rather than all dungeons, but this is great work ^.^ |

One thing I have found frustrating is that some of the magic items that have no reference, "earring of the sea, gloves of the octopus". I have had to drop them out of the adventures as I can find nothing to match them up too. Also the adv. for references on some of the spells are unknown to me. Definitely would like to see someone rework these into version 3 or 3.5 |
