Cripes! I would like to see the campaign that spawned this scenario :) I liked it because it had some epic undertones with the characters as antihereos. Anyone who's a fan of protagonists like Elric of Melnibone should like this. On the flip side I don't think this scenario is really usable as anything but a oneoff ...

I withdraw my oneoff statement. It seems there's a whole series of connected adventures on this site all with the words "Working for Mammon" in their title.

I'm not really sure anymore if the entire party was 'charmed' or just one character. If it was one character then the other party members will have a hell of a time during this adventure. It is a very evil deed done by the players (if they go along with it), which could flip the scale of neutrality (if you use that that is). Otherwise I don;t think anyone can just plant it if you aren't evil aligned. (which could be astruggle also)
