The Blackrock Brothers Abroad
Author: Keven Simmons
System: AD&D 2nd Edition
Category: Fantasy
Type: Scenario
When you finally reach the farmstead, you discover that it is abandoned. The buildings seem to have been severely damage, as have some of the trees at the edge of the clearing. Apparently the inhabitants of this farm were the victims of a tornado, because the damage seems to be relatively localized.

I really liked this adventure, it sets up a perfectly self-contained setting, easily lending itself to a setting while also offering ample roleplaying oppertunities rather than just smashing stuff :)

I agree with Myst on this one. It is a very well made adventure. And not always having to fight your way out is ALWAYS a good thing in an adventure! The parts I liked most of all in this adventure were the NPC Motivations section, and the abundance of NPC's. The Players in my game told me that my NPC's are what set my game apart from most, so I guess I just have a weak spot for good NPC's! =D

This is a realy great adventure in my eyes, it was set out perfectly for the DM, and contained many chances for the players to role-play, and develope their characters. On the other hand, one of the NPCs that I was looking forward the most to role-playing, Sharelle, ended up running right away, though this was my fault. I give this adventure an 8 simply because I don't think it achieves a 9 or a 10 which I think should be alotted only to very best adventures(meaning store quality).

A great side trek adventure. The charmed PC idea works very if the other players (not their characters) are not aware of it.

Incredibly well done, detailed, dynamic. Possible outcomes, multiple things happening at the same time, all interwined.

Nice enough adventure, with lots of roleplaying.

One of the best on this site!

As previously noted this adventure also affords multiple opportunities for role-playing.
