All Doors Close

This one is a little less fleshed out than some of the others, so it might work more as an idea than as a full-fledged adventure.. It really rests on one particular character in my campaign, a bladeling psionicist who has a goal of going back in time and making sure the xenophobic Bladelings are never discovered in the first place by making sure some other reclusive or unknow race is discovered in their place (to keep a balance of sorts).

First off, this is going to sound a bit harsh, especially for the first comment added. That said, this does need to be said.

I have serious problems with the Lady of Pain in this scenario. She's a lot more powerful then you make her appear.

First off, the Lady of Pain has full control over the opening and closing of Sigil's portals. No random wizard named Belzin is going to be able to defy the Lady when beings far more powerful have already tried (and failed).

Now, I suppose you could normally use the excuse, "The Lady doesn't really care whether the portals are open or shut." Problem being, you make her care, by activly getting the PCs involved and then helping them. So that excuse doesn't work.

Another problem is the vacuous. Fine concept, but once again, the Lady is not going to let a group of elementals simply destroy Sigil. She's killed powers, liches, and mortals, a few elementals arn't exactly a threat to her. Again, the old "she doesn't care" excuse can be used to an extent, but this is seriously stretching it.

Plans to destroy Sigil are almost destined to fail.

Now, with a few modifications this idea could work. Move everybody to another plane, where the Lady holds no influence. Maybe change Bezpin's big idea; there are a lot of ways to impress people without closing portals. There is a decent idea buried in here somewhere, but as it stands the Lady's unrealism kinda kills it.
