Peril from the Deep
Author: Ser Spencer
System: d20 Dungeons and Dragons
Category: Fantasy
Type: Scenario
The town of Kotun was a small fishing hamlet that did not do much for the empire but just kind of was there. Then, following a strange storm, sea creatures took it upon themselves to see if there was any sort of mischief to be had at the village. Needless to say, the thorp is in need of some help. Lots of it.

Simple, short & sweet... Though not what I'm looking for at this time, I definitly like the fact that the theme of the Monsters all make sense they'd work together. Something I find many adventures like this one lack.

i have one major problem with this adventure.... Sahuagin are found only in warm aquatic areas... why would they be in an area with ice and snow? I highly doubt that a storm short of being of epic proportions would have blown/driven them to an area such as where you placed them. there is also a minor problem that many many submissions that this site lacks... no quality maps... there is another point to mention... a village as you described found on a icey plain with hearths burning and that requires a dc check to notice all that smoke from only a mile away? and the dc check is only a dc10 to boot? a 0 level nothing could make a check like that in their sleep... this adventure lacks believability even in a fantasy setting...

Not much to say about this effort : really lacked a coherent plot.A rather old skool collection of disparate monsters looking for a dungeon. All that was missing was a ten foot by ten foot room with six orcs guarding a locked chest.Having said all that, would be v easy to run and if DM'd with gusto could work fine.

Just a collection of monsters who of very varying strength. Too simple.

Looks like a storm blew an ocean random encounter table on to a random generated town...

Great idea. Though not a well balanced adventure. If you flesh it out, it could run great.
