Tribe of the Wolf
Author: Eric Noah
System: D&D Forgotten Realms
Category: Fantasy
Type: Scenario
This was the first in a long series of adventures set in the Forgotten Realms with the overarching task of collecting twelve bronze disks corresponding to the Realms' zodiac (which I had to invent). In this adventure, PCs delve into a deep tomb to find a small clan of hobgoblins, the Wolf Tribe, whose leader wears one of the bronze disks as a token of power. It worked well for 2nd and 3rd level characters.

The map is nice but... where's the story ???

Dungeon Crawl with little to no story, but nice maps and encounter table. Not of much use without the other adventures to recover the rest of the disks, and without the initial need to do so.

7 stars for the maps - minus - 5 stars for the bad storyline (i.e. why would there be any treasure or monsters left in the tombs aqfter the tribe of wolf makes their lair here? stupid oversight imho) - equals - a 2 star game at best
