Winter's Cold Heart
Author: Jason Patterson
System: Generic
Category: Fantasy
Type: Scenario
A party is stranded at an inn during a winter blizzard - but something dark waits outside... and perhaps inside as well... Though some combat is likely, mostly in Section 2, the scenario relies more on reason, critical thinking and using clues to solve a fairly straight-forward puzzle which will help increase the chance of survival for the inn’s patrons.

Reminds me of a real good novel I read a long time ago. Seems like it would flow very well as long as the PC's keep focused - we all know how hard that is at times... LOL! The only reason that I did not give it a 10 is that it is a generic adventure and requires much work (stats, random events, etc...), but I can respect the generic idea so that many differant game systems can use it... Thanks for the share!

Thanks for the words and I agree, it could be better, but I'm still new to this writing scenario gig so all in all I'm fairly pleased, and glad other people are too. Again I'd like to thank the people from the online RPG community for the suggestions.

I ran this tonight. It made a quick and easy one shot, and it was easily adapted to fit in my campaign world.

nice idea within a confined environment. The puzzle is not that hard to solve, if players are focused. Well Done!

no stats and illegal use of art (did you get the artist permission to use those pics? thought not...) you could have still kept it generic and given basic stats at the same time.
