| Planescape Demo from GenCon 1997 | | Author: Monte Cook | | System: D&D Planescape [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | This was the demo game run in the Planescape tower at the Gen Con Game Fair in 1997. I've cleaned it up so as to present it as a short adventure that can be used to introduce low-level, Prime Material characters to the Planescape setting. A working knowledge of the setting is needed (but without the boxed set, why would you want to run this adventure anyway?). A copy of Guide to the Astral Plane or the Planescape Monstrous Compendium I would be nice, but they're really not needed.

| Plug and Play | | Author: Gareth Hanrahan | | System: Alternity [filter] | | Category: Science Fiction [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | In 2050, the world was in a sorry state. Dozens of megacorporations warred for control of the world’s dwindling resources. Billions starved or fell prey to pollution-related diseases or new, untreatable plagues. As the world plunged deeper and deeper into recession and constant warfare, many turned to religion – not in hope, but in anger. They demanded a sign from the heavens.
The heavens answered.

| Prophecy | | Author: Simon Lee | | System: Call of Cthulhu [filter] | | Category: Horror [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | April 1895. London awaits with anticipation the latest masterpiece of the great Irish playwright, Mr Oscar Wilde. Those in theatre circles are certain that the play, Salome, will be the highlight of the year's social calendar. But all is not as it should be. Lord Alfred Douglas summons two companions from Oscar's youth and charges them to discover why the playwright feels himself close to death. In the St James theatre, actors rehearsing for the opening night of Salome begin to wonder whether the play, and the eccentric director Jonathan Ogilvie, are perhaps more than they seem. Disturbing details emerge regarding the play's origins, and both companions and actors begin to fear what will be prophesied on the opening night of Salome. | | Views: (10399) [sort] | | Comments: (3) Rating: 9.3 [sort] | | 2000-10-24 06:09:56 [sort] |
