| Dhowin's Rest | | Author: Alan Jones | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | Dhowin's Rest itself is a low mound that anywhere else could be missed by casual travellers. On the bleak Plains of Yhaunn the mound draws the eye like a magnet. It is about 10 paces wide by some 15 paces long and egg shaped. Grass grows thickly on its smooth surface. Near the southern end there is a small depression where a few stones protrude like bones picked clean by the ravens that circle constantly looking for stray sheep or goats. | | Views: (8450) [sort] | | Comments: (3) Rating: 5.3 [sort] | | 2000-02-01 09:21:03 [sort] |
| Ruins of Kraal, The | | Author: Katherine Wasson | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | Based partly on "Thunder Rift" (TSR). The ruins lie in the heart of the Black Swamps. In former years Kraal was the stronghold of the evil wizard Kuzak. A group of white mages went to fight and kill Kuzak in order to restore peace to the realm of Melinir. They succeeded in their quest, but the magical forces were so great and devastating that the land surrounding Kraal sank and was filled by the nearby rivers forming a large evil swamp.

| Agar's Payment | | Author: aubricker@aol.com | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Hook [filter] | | The Good Hills area is civilized, and despite recent troubles it is mostly safe from major humanoid raids and similar threats. Still, there are some ancient burial grounds of unknown origin in the area. The Keoish would rather "let sleeping evils lie" and generally have the good sense to leave such things alone, but adventurers are another matter. | | Views: (13891) [sort] | | Comments: (13) Rating: 7.6 [sort] | | 2000-01-27 10:32:01 [sort] |
| The Crypt of the Undead King | | Author: Thomas Miller | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | The shepherd was almost asleep when he heard the sounds. Strange sounds, too, he thought as he rose from his bed. The sheep were moving around in their pens and making all kinds of noise, but there were other noises out there. Some kind of moaning or groaning could be heard above the sheep's bleats. Damned kids, thought the man as he grabbed his staff and headed for the door. | | Views: (6646) [sort] | | Comments: (3) Rating: 6.3 [sort] | | 2000-01-25 15:09:12 [sort] |
| The Keep | | Author: Thomas J. Broadfoot | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | Long ago, a great wizard named Calizar became tired of the ways of adventuring. Deciding to build a small keep in which to continue his craft, Calizar found a location far from the reaches of civilized mankind. Deep within a mountain pass, surrounded by sheer cliffs, a small keep was constructed. After construction had been completed, Calizar was content to live with his new home without the constant interruption of man. | | Views: (7479) [sort] | | Comments: (1) Rating: 8.0 [sort] | | 2000-01-23 16:22:56 [sort] |
