| The Gauntlet of Grummsh | | Author: Scott "Stumbleduck" Simms | | System: d20 Dungeons and Dragons [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | Bonecrusher (an Orc, now a Giant Orc Chieftain) has found the Gauntlet of Grummsh (an orcish Artifact) and is kicking some serious butt, raising an orc army and is about to invade the county to, rape, pillage, and plunder the area (he's powerful, but he's still an orc.) Of course, the destruction of this gauntlet is very important to the players. Bonecrusher could be considered the Guardian of the Gauntlet, and destroying it will bring curses from Grummsh onto the party. | | Views: (16501) [sort] | | Comments: (6) Rating: 7.5 [sort] | | 2001-05-26 20:18:43 [sort] |
| Devil's Deception | | Author: Darren White | | System: d20 Dungeons and Dragons [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | The Devil’s Deception involves the PCs discovering a dilapidated tower deep in the wilds of an ancient forest. The tower belonged to a long dead evil wizard that brought a great horror into the world. This diabolical creature is imprisoned within and impatiently looking to be released.
This adventure makes an excellent diversion within a larger Dungeons & Dragons module or campaign. The Devil’s Deception takes place within a temperate wilderness setting, a wild that is not traveled often works best. The module was designed to be used by four 4th-characters. The Dungeon Master (DM) will need a copy of the Player's Handbook, the Dungeon Master's Guide, and the Monster Manual (items not within these text are fully explained complete with stat blocks if necessary).

| The Black Scepter | | Author: Dominic A. Covey | | System: D&D Forgotten Realms [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | In recent weeks, a great tragedy and controversy has arisen in the east-central shires of the Barony. Normally the nobles of the land would take little heed to the outcry of the gnomes and pastoral country folk there (who often make a great fuss of a month of bad weather, calling for the court wizards of Baron’s Hold to take a hand and set the weather to fair for the rest of the year), but this matter seems to be rather serious. By now news of it has spread across the heart of the Barony and even to the court of the Baron himself.

| Sierra One | | Author: Steve Kellams | | System: GURPS [filter] | | Category: Science Fiction [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | In 1950 the U.S. began experimenting with cold fusion. The offshoot of the experiment resulted in further study of energy transmission and collection. A top secret underground instillation, code named Sierra One was established in what is now known as Red Lodge Montana. As the need for services grew in that area so did the population. The town of Red Lodge is a skiing resort located directly above Sierra One. In 1991 the project was terminated. All of Sierra One's computers were connected to the NSA, and telemetry was monitored from NORAD. 25 U.S. Army MP's were stationed as a guard unit for the closed base. Red Lodge Montana has a population of 45,000. | | Views: (5696) [sort] | | Comments: (2) Rating: 7.5 [sort] | | 2000-02-25 15:00:29 [sort] |
| Secret of Saltham Shore | | Author: Bob Hall | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | This scenario is designed for a party of low-level characters. It requires a balanced mix of investigative and combat skills, and favors heroes who think before acting. Secret of Saltham Shore is designed to be an introduction to a longer running campaign during a period of grave threats to the settled lands. Most of this adventure occurs in the manorial village of Saltham, at the edge of the Duchy of Irolo. But the scenario can easily be adapted to another remote coastal village located near a large bog. | | Views: (8804) [sort] | | Comments: (2) Rating: 7.5 [sort] | | 2000-04-05 12:15:29 [sort] |
