| The Thing from Jakarta | | Author: Mervyn Boyd | | System: Call of Cthulhu [filter] | | Category: Horror [filter] | | Type: Hook [filter] | | Although the scenario can be played as a stand alone, it is probably best if it is added to an ongoing campaign as a side-track event. It's essentially a no-brainer, so specialised characters are not required. Although a loose time frame is used, it can be modified or ignored by the keeper to make for a more enjoyable half hour of play. For full effect it should ideally be played by one player, but no more than three. It s suited for the modern age, though it can be modified for the 1920s or 1890s. The setting is Newark, New Jersey although this can be changed to suit the individual keeper. | | Views: (4596) [sort] | | Comments: (3) Rating: 8.7 [sort] | | 2002-11-27 14:10:11 [sort] |
| Tunnel Run | | Author: Brett Hegr | | System: Beyond the Supernatural [filter] | | Category: Horror [filter] | | Type: Hook [filter] | | PCs are witness to a strange event - a man in rags is seen crawling into a manhole. It wouldn't be strange except for the fact that the man was skinny and spindly, yet could somehow lift a heavy manhole cover like the lid off a jar of pickles. Chasing the man is a waste of time. | | Views: (4527) [sort] | | Comments: (0) Rating: 0.0 [sort] | | 2000-03-29 01:28:59 [sort] |
| The Reluctant Bride | | Author: Alan Jones | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | The PCs have been hired to escort a small caravan, which includes a daughter of a high ranking official, from Ylaruam City to Abbashan. The daughter, Seema, is to be married to a high ranking official in Abbashan. Seema however has other plans and runs away with her lover and hide in the lost city of Kabar. The adventure could be set in any campaign world that has a large desert realm. | | Views: (4512) [sort] | | Comments: (3) Rating: 7.3 [sort] | | 2000-01-16 16:57:06 [sort] |
