| Wid the Giant | | Author: David Dunham | | System: Pendragon [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Hook [filter] | | After reading Beyond the Wall, I ran this short adventure in my East
Ralios campaign, using my PenDragon Pass variant rules. However, it
ought to be pretty easily adaptable to Arthurian Pendragon -- the
Hsunchen would be Picts, the Pralori are elk folk. | | Views: (3489) [sort] | | Comments: (0) Rating: 0.0 [sort] | | 2000-05-26 11:43:44 [sort] |
| Winter Beast | | Author: Joe | | System: GURPS [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | From Newsgroups: rec.games.frp
In the last few weeks I started threads called “ The Death Artist ” and “ Hackers on Ice ” to get ideas for a GURPS adventure that I ran. Thank you to all who responded. The game session turned out to be very good. A lot of those who responded requested that I let them know what happened so I’m posting the adventure that I created, and a summary of what happened. | | Views: (4368) [sort] | | Comments: (5) Rating: 7.0 [sort] | | 2000-02-17 00:51:22 [sort] |
| Winter's Cold Heart | | Author: Jason Patterson | | System: Generic [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | A party is stranded at an inn during a winter blizzard - but something dark waits outside... and perhaps inside as well...
Though some combat is likely, mostly in Section 2, the scenario relies more on reason, critical thinking and using clues to solve a fairly straight-forward puzzle which will help increase the chance of survival for the inn’s patrons. | | Views: (3374) [sort] | | Comments: (5) Rating: 5.8 [sort] | | 2006-10-11 02:48:40 [sort] |
| Working for Mammon: Monolith of the Underworld | | Author: Tomar | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | While wandering through the open grassland, the party will come across a sharp boundary where at one point the land is fertile and the next is a dried barren waste. This boundary is a fine line and can be seen curving in the distance (actually a circle radiating outward from the monolith). If the party looks, a small insect can be seen crossing into the wasted section. Within minutes the insect goes into convulsions | | Views: (5075) [sort] | | Comments: (4) Rating: 5.2 [sort] | | 2000-02-22 11:35:25 [sort] |
| Working for Mammon: Retrieve the Rod of Orcus | | Author: Tomar | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | Mammon will speak to the party through a dream. He says that a special rod must be retrieved from the Silver Citadel in the Silverbrand Forest. This citadel was once used by the elves as a barrier against the onslaught of savage ogres in the distant past. Since the defeat of the ogres 30 years ago, the Silver Citadel is now used as a testing ground for elven mages. The knowledge of the Rod of Orcus has been forgotten and the elves do not know that the rod is hidden in the catacombs. | | Views: (4117) [sort] | | Comments: (1) Rating: 6.0 [sort] | | 2000-02-24 12:39:03 [sort] |
| Wrath of The Fire Beast | | Author: Bob Hall | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | Although initially on a simple adventure in the mountains, this party of 4-6 characters of 2nd to 3rd experience levels has unknowingly been set upon a mission to save the northern lands from a growing threat from beneath the great peaks. The scenario can be used as an adventure for a party travelling across the land to a distant location, or as a change of pace at the end of an outdoor campaign. It could be helpful for the party to include a dwarf and a wizard.
