| Shades of the Blade | | Author: Daron Patton | | System: Star Frontiers [filter] | | Category: Science Fiction [filter] | | Type: Hook [filter] | | Koraffo stared at the Khad’dan buried deep in Ulkunk’s amorphous corpse. He
was the sole survivor now. Why hadn’t he simply refused to follow the human
female’s orders? Why didn’t matter any more. The Hir-Kal would be coming for
him next. Then it could rest again.
The Yazirian sighed then dropped his blaster belt and blaster to the deck.
Lasers would be no use against such a phantom. According to legend nothing
was. The hissing song of his Khad’dan being swiftly drawn from its sheathe
echoed down the silent passageway. If an ancient evil wanted his life, it
would have to pass through ancient steel to take it.

| Sierra One | | Author: Steve Kellams | | System: GURPS [filter] | | Category: Science Fiction [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | In 1950 the U.S. began experimenting with cold fusion. The offshoot of the experiment resulted in further study of energy transmission and collection. A top secret underground instillation, code named Sierra One was established in what is now known as Red Lodge Montana. As the need for services grew in that area so did the population. The town of Red Lodge is a skiing resort located directly above Sierra One. In 1991 the project was terminated. All of Sierra One's computers were connected to the NSA, and telemetry was monitored from NORAD. 25 U.S. Army MP's were stationed as a guard unit for the closed base. Red Lodge Montana has a population of 45,000. | | Views: (5693) [sort] | | Comments: (2) Rating: 7.5 [sort] | | 2000-02-25 15:00:29 [sort] |

| The Battle of Garos IV | | Author: Rodney Thompson | | System: Star Wars [filter] | | Category: Science Fiction [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | This module is a good climax to the first part of a campaign. Though originally designed to fit in with the above adventure modules, it is easily adaptable for any campaign. It features one of the best combinations of planetary assault and inter-starship battling. The only problem is that it is a bit vague in parts, which leaves the GM to fill in a lot of gaps.
