| Unnamed | | Author: Thoth | | System: Nightbane [filter] | | Category: Horror [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | The player characters are members of the Seekers faction (or have been hired by the Seekers) to solve a most puzzling murder. A high-ranking member was murdered in his sleep, and there is no sign of forced entry and very few clues to go on. The only clue points to a second high-ranking member, one Simon Van Horn, as the murderer. | | Views: (4737) [sort] | | Comments: (0) Rating: 0.0 [sort] | | 2000-01-14 23:40:53 [sort] |
| Desperate Remedies | | Author: Jon Rowe | | System: Call of Cthulhu [filter] | | Category: Horror [filter] | | Type: Hook [filter] | | Someone close to the investigators is succumbing to a horrific disease. Symptoms include unpredictable attacks of agony; loathsome swellings, horrible alterations in skin texture and bone structure, and foul excrescences. Conventional doctors are mystified and alternative therapies are futile - because the sufferer is turning into a ghoul.

| The Thing from Jakarta | | Author: Mervyn Boyd | | System: Call of Cthulhu [filter] | | Category: Horror [filter] | | Type: Hook [filter] | | Although the scenario can be played as a stand alone, it is probably best if it is added to an ongoing campaign as a side-track event. It's essentially a no-brainer, so specialised characters are not required. Although a loose time frame is used, it can be modified or ignored by the keeper to make for a more enjoyable half hour of play. For full effect it should ideally be played by one player, but no more than three. It s suited for the modern age, though it can be modified for the 1920s or 1890s. The setting is Newark, New Jersey although this can be changed to suit the individual keeper. | | Views: (4598) [sort] | | Comments: (3) Rating: 8.7 [sort] | | 2002-11-27 14:10:11 [sort] |
