| *sToNeD* | | Author: Klancy Kennedy | | System: Generic [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | Sinister, enganging plot involves a powerful tool fallen into the wrong hands. Only the players can set things right. They have a piece
of the tool, but first they have to figure out how the tool works, why two opposing forces are persuing them, whom to trust, and what
to do next. Murder, accusation, betrayal, diplomacy, combat, and constant mystique force the players to make incredibly difficult
decisions. If you love to see your players think, this plot is for you. | | Views: (20171) [sort] | | Comments: (11) Rating: 8.2 [sort] | | 2001-07-01 11:39:51 [sort] |
| The Lesser Evil | | Author: Fergal O'Brien | | System: d20 Dungeons and Dragons [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | No tears, no regrets, no mercy. The malcontented, the bitter and the downright insane are out to prove a point to the world in this 3rd Ed D&D scenario, but they are about to find out that more stands in their way than mere humans. Those who don't study the mistakes of their own history are bound to repeat them. As you have sowed, so shall ye reap. Originally run at Gaelcon 2000, this is a game recommended for a slightly more mature audience, although it can also be played purely for revelling in how damn tough the characters are.

| Talon Trails | | Author: Strolen | | System: Generic [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Hook [filter] | | As long as any can remember these certain paths allowed one to travel up to and over 20 extra miles a day by using them, depending on which trail one took. One moment one was deep along a small trail, the next he would find himself 20 or more miles farther down the path without realizing it. All was fine until recently. Reports came back that the magic is gone and normal trails only remain. All the Talon Trail's are actually homes of wizards of long past and now the protection that has been hiding them has finally failed. Will it release monsters of ages past or reveal magic of unknown worth? | | Views: (6978) [sort] | | Comments: (8) Rating: 8.2 [sort] | | 2003-01-26 05:42:34 [sort] |
| A Slight Distraction | | Author: Morgan Rodwell | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Hook [filter] | | The adventure was written to take place in the city of Redspan, in the Duchy of Tenh, during Harvester 585 CY, but could easily be placed in just about any city in the northern Flanaess. The city should be fairly good sized, with a mediocre watch at best, and all the guilds one would expect in such a city, including a source of mercenaries and an assassins guild. | | Views: (19545) [sort] | | Comments: (6) Rating: 8.2 [sort] | | 2000-02-01 09:33:26 [sort] |
| Runaways | | Author: Dominic A. Covey | | System: Call of Cthulhu [filter] | | Category: Horror [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | This scenario, "Runaways", takes the investigators (and the Keeper) into another world, into the lives and minds of an alien intelligence - dolphins. The story revolves around four dolphins (five really), who were formerly part of a "cult" dedicated to both Father Dagon and Mother Hydra, somewhere in the South Pacific. Although most such servitors are bound mindlessly to their masters in the depths, called upon only to terrorize human fishermen or to act on the behalf of human cults, four of these dolphins began to realize, by some stroke of intelligence on their own part, their own capacity for goodness...but they have little time left to break the walls between man and dolphin before Mother and Father find them.
