| The Vault of Time | | Author: Garry J. Sled | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | Long ago, a mage named Adder began an adventuring career. Unlike his companions (who sought gold and treasure), Adder adventured to further his pursuit of knowledge. He did not seek power or wealth, except where these tools could increase the information available to him. He and his companions grew powerful and wealthy, but while they spent their fortunes on life's finer pleasures, Adder spent his on books and scrolls. | | Views: (8558) [sort] | | Comments: (10) Rating: 8.5 [sort] | | 2000-02-17 16:04:34 [sort] |
| Lure of the Serpent | | Author: Andrew Rochester | | System: D&D Forgotten Realms [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | Haven't the players heard it all before? Yet another friend in need; yet another beleaguered village, slowly sinking beneath the weight of an evil oppressor... A cliché of a situation which any adventuring group worth their salt would probably claim they could handle. Until things start to go wrong. Horribly, horribly wrong. Demons scoured from a madman's worst nightmares? A fragment of a long-forgotten artefact? Coincidences, or subtle moves in some sinister master plan? Shocked characters may discover that this adventure rewards complacent behaviour with an untimely demise...

| Planescape Demo from GenCon 1997 | | Author: Monte Cook | | System: D&D Planescape [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | This was the demo game run in the Planescape tower at the Gen Con Game Fair in 1997. I've cleaned it up so as to present it as a short adventure that can be used to introduce low-level, Prime Material characters to the Planescape setting. A working knowledge of the setting is needed (but without the boxed set, why would you want to run this adventure anyway?). A copy of Guide to the Astral Plane or the Planescape Monstrous Compendium I would be nice, but they're really not needed.

| A Hungry Season | | Author: Molotov | | System: Star Trek [filter] | | Category: Science Fiction [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | A dangerous outbreak of Subjenix Flu, a virulent and contagious
disease, in the Sector the Crew occupies (total coincidence). Subjenix Flu is a known
hazard; the most common treatment is the use of the Dafyyd IX serum, an expensive
treatment due to it's fairly rare and esoteric components. A Kzinti Raider and his
powerful Patron. A Federation Medical ship, and your favorite PCs... | | Views: (10016) [sort] | | Comments: (2) Rating: 8.5 [sort] | | 2000-04-25 11:19:12 [sort] |
| Wrath of The Fire Beast | | Author: Bob Hall | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | Although initially on a simple adventure in the mountains, this party of 4-6 characters of 2nd to 3rd experience levels has unknowingly been set upon a mission to save the northern lands from a growing threat from beneath the great peaks. The scenario can be used as an adventure for a party travelling across the land to a distant location, or as a change of pace at the end of an outdoor campaign. It could be helpful for the party to include a dwarf and a wizard.
