| The Long Mine of Klangdensturm | | Author: Keven Simmons | | System: D&D Forgotten Realms [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | Several dwarven generations ago, the dwarven city of Klängdenstürm, located deep in the Underdark, operated a mithril mine several miles away from the main city. Not only was it a particularly abundant source of the rare metal, but it was also the only such mine to be found for hundreds of miles. The dwarves of Klängdenstürm were therefore very protective of their mithril and guarded the mine with a battalion of dwarven soldiers and a cunning maze full of deadly traps. Other denizens of the underdark made many attempts to wrest control of the mine away from the dwarves of Klängdenstürm, but all were thwarted. The dwarves thought their defenses were unbreachable, at least until the cunning Bitzune Ca’Theran learned of the mine.

| Altdorf Chronicles, The | | Author: Unknown | | System: War Hammer [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | Thousands of years ago, when the human tribes were first starting to consolidate, Morr sent his messenger. The highest practitioner of the faith among the elves on Ulthuan, was Evan Ethandril. Taken with her mission she traversed the ocean and found followers with the human tribe known as the Uberungens. There she spent many years teaching the humans the rites and ceremonies of Morr as the God of Death. Before she completed her instruction, however, she felt a great surge of dark power to the south moving north. She left to investigate with her underprepared initiates, for none of the humans truly understood the core principles yet. | | Views: (7985) [sort] | | Comments: (0) Rating: 0.0 [sort] | | 2000-03-07 14:45:35 [sort] |
| Blood Omen | | Author: Erebus Red | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | This is a stop-gap adventure which begins while the characters are traveling between destinations. It is evening and the sky has become overcast and stormy. The adventurers are pelted by rain and the clouds, moving almost supernaturally fast above them, are indicative of ill portent. The way ahead becomes increasingly misty, and visibility becomes greatly limited. Elves using infravision will detect nothing but grazing animals in the surrounding plains.

This adventure can easily be converted to 3rd edition rules as well as any familiar plane or location. It is set in the swamplands in Glaun Bog, located in between Deepingdale and Tasseldale. | Guild and Evil | | Author: Eric Noah | | System: D&D Birthright [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | This adventure was written to get a new player into the game. He played Seriena, a human spy, who used this adventure (solo, without the regent Fenrik) to "prove her mettle." Fenrik was so impressed with Seriena's work that he made her one of his trusted lieutenants, replacing his former spymaster, the halfling Shannen Torvenholdt.
