History Repeats
Author: Mr. Nobody
System: Beyond the Supernatural [filter]
Category: Horror [filter]
Type: Hook [filter]
This plot is a bit unpleasant and has no happy ending to it. I would suggest it be used only in the "darker theme" type of games. It is mostly a morality play, who will the players help, the "innocent" man or the teen with no control over his actions.

Janus
Author: Shannon Carl
System: World Of Darkness [filter]
Category: Horror [filter]
Type: NPC [filter]
Although Prince of St. Louis, Janus refuses to dress in more than a tattered black robe, much like the one he wore during his years on the streets of Rome. Around his neck, the Prince wears a plain, inverted Cross – his state is an affront to God, so in this manner he flaunts his damnation openly. The Prince’s eyes dart back and forth, driven by nervous energy and paranoia. Standing tall, the Prince is still relatively short; regardless, he rarely stands upright, instead slinking about like a cutpurse looking for his next mark.

Learned Company
Author: Julie Hoverson
System: DeadLands [filter]
Category: Horror [filter]
Type: Scenario [filter]
When highbrow meets lowbrow, is it a meeting of the minds or a clash of the titans? It's a case of folklore vs. booklore when calamity strikes a tiny isolated community - and learned outsiders try to seek out the truth. Who is really better suited to deal with a vampire, a physicist or an exorcist?
