| Dancing With The Devil | | Author: Samuel M. Wright | | System: D&D Planescape [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Hook [filter] | | After being tossed out of a high class party in the Lady's Ward in
Sigil, a half-fiend sorcerer decides a human adventurer is going to teach him
dancing and courtly etiquette. Or die trying. Grabbing a sharp dressed
adventurer who's light on his feet, the evil son-of-a-pit-fiend makes the
adventurer an offer the cutter can't refuse: Teach me to pass in society and
be heavily rewarded. Fail and get strangled with your own entrails. Ever dance
with the devil? Better not step on his toes... | | Views: (5671) [sort] | | Comments: (6) Rating: 6.7 [sort] | | 2000-11-02 16:49:19 [sort] |
| Darkest Hearts | | Author: Clinton R. Nixon | | System: d20 Dungeons and Dragons [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | This adventure is a short introductory adventure to the 3rd Edition Dungeons and Dragons game from Wizards of the Coast, although it can be adapted to any fantasy role-playing system. This can be set in any geographic location, although it is assumed to be in a small town or village. While no maps are provided, the only maps a DM may need to prepare are for one bar, and a small farm.

| Devil's Deception | | Author: Darren White | | System: d20 Dungeons and Dragons [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | The Devil’s Deception involves the PCs discovering a dilapidated tower deep in the wilds of an ancient forest. The tower belonged to a long dead evil wizard that brought a great horror into the world. This diabolical creature is imprisoned within and impatiently looking to be released.
This adventure makes an excellent diversion within a larger Dungeons & Dragons module or campaign. The Devil’s Deception takes place within a temperate wilderness setting, a wild that is not traveled often works best. The module was designed to be used by four 4th-characters. The Dungeon Master (DM) will need a copy of the Player's Handbook, the Dungeon Master's Guide, and the Monster Manual (items not within these text are fully explained complete with stat blocks if necessary).

| Dhowin's Rest | | Author: Alan Jones | | System: AD&D 2nd Edition [filter] | | Category: Fantasy [filter] | | Type: Scenario [filter] | | Dhowin's Rest itself is a low mound that anywhere else could be missed by casual travellers. On the bleak Plains of Yhaunn the mound draws the eye like a magnet. It is about 10 paces wide by some 15 paces long and egg shaped. Grass grows thickly on its smooth surface. Near the southern end there is a small depression where a few stones protrude like bones picked clean by the ravens that circle constantly looking for stray sheep or goats. | | Views: (8450) [sort] | | Comments: (3) Rating: 5.3 [sort] | | 2000-02-01 09:21:03 [sort] |
